Photography has been the last thing on my mind lately, but somehow I still ended up with a photo for each day. Even though the selection from which to choose was slim pickin's, these photos give a glimpse of my life the past week.
Easter Sunday, April 8. Easter egg hunting--the kids run around like mad looking for candy-filled eggs; the adults stand around eating the candy.
Saturday, April 7. While I baked and cooked for our Easter dinner and the youth breakfast at church, Susannah and Ruth kept me company playing Blink at the kitchen table. By the time we left for church that evening, I'd finished 2 pies, 4 doz. crescent rolls, 2 doz. dinner rolls, 2 coffee cakes, 4 dozen kolaches, 4 dozen muffins, 2 salads, and 1 casserole.
Friday, April 6. After church, we celebrated Steve's 45th birthday two days late. Here he's blowing out a candle on his "cake"--a dessert Aunt Ruthie brought.
Thursday, April 5. Susannah with her last-minute Easter dress purchase.
Wednesday, April 4. First session of high school book discussion group. First book: Lord of the Flies. This picture shows the passing of the conch (not really a conch but close enough) by two guys who obviously wish to remain anonymous. (What is it with teen boys and showing their faces?) Later it turned into conking with the conch. We had a blast.
Tuesday, April 3. First track meet--gray, cold, and rainy, of course. Liz triple jumping.

I've been wondering what you've been up to! Glad to have pics and an update.
Any good candy in those eggs? We managed to get through Easter w/out any candy for the kids this year and boy was it nice! We always have candy left over from ds' b'day party (pinata) and then all the Easter basket stuff from grands is just too much!
Boy, you did a lot of baking and cooking! Aunt Ruthie's dessert sure looks good! It looks like a dessert a lady at a former church made - some kind of layered strawberry surprise cake.

Want to add.. We have that game, Blink! I am a nervous wreck playing it! Juli loves it though. She always beats me, but Stephanie often beats her!
