These kids were totally disinterested in the football game going on nearby; the rushing river in this usually-dry drainage ditch was much more enticing. Everyone else is sick of all the rain we've been having, but kids all over the county are loving it because of the streams, puddles, and lakes that magically appear after a night of heavy rain. There's lots of rock-chunking, mud-slinging, wading, and general water-oriented fun going on--at least until the mosquitoes chase the kids back inside.

Kids and water...
...are like peanut butter and jelly--they just go together. These kids were totally disinterested in the football game going on nearby; the rushing river in this usually-dry drainage ditch was much more enticing.
